In 1946, Col. Robert L. Scott became Commander of the first jet fighter school at Williams Field Arizona. Scott was famous for his exploits with the "Flying Tigers" in China during WWII, and his best-selling book "God is my co-pilot" was made into a popular movie. Captured here, you see his personal mount at "Willie Air Patch" the iconic and beautiful P-51D Mustang, in which Scott is giving a student lessons in air-to-air combat.
